Island Base Camp By using a base camp we minimize the time of setting up and taking down overnight camping gear. This provides us with more time and energy to explore. During this 4-day trip, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, kayak instruction, as well as fun and relaxation. Sand, Oak and Stockton Islands are ideal locations that serve well as base camps and offer endless possibilities for exploration. Depending on a group's ability and interests, different routes within the apostles can be utilized. This trip is great for young families. Trips depart every Monday and return Thursday, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Departs with a minimum of 4 people per trip. Children 8-13 must be accompanied by 2 adults.
