Basic Safety Course

This intensive, beginner, introductory course presents essential information, instruction and experience that will help you manage your risk in a sea kayak. Content includes weather, hypothermia, local hazards, proper dress, equipment, basic strokes, wet exits and rescues. Participants are provided with a wetsuit, boat and gear. This is a required course for all renters. Reservations are required. Minimum of 4 people if not renting.
